No New Posts I use 1/2" ID chemical hose / 2gpm pumps-Any way to use my 5gpm thru 1/2" hose?
Hello, I went from 1.8 gpm Surefo pumps years ago, to 5 gpm Delavans. Now I have gone back down to 2 gpm Delavans and a tandem setup of two 2gpm Delavans, which ends up at aprox 3gpm in reality. { I tested it and calibrated it's output carefully.} These will pump just fine through 1/2" ID hose. I was thi...

No New Posts Chlorine Killer, or what color clothes to wear. ( 1 2 3 4 )
Ok, heres the question. Is there something a person could keep handy on his rig that would kill the bleaching action of chlorine? I have ruined more clothes in the last 3 weeks than I care to talk about. Would the stuff you use in aquariums to remove chlorine work, if you mixed it up in heavy concentratio...

No New Posts tough safety rope ( 1 2 )
I am a strong believer in gravity; soooo,I have gone ahead and bought a safety  harness for $20 off ebay, used but in very functional condition.  Now I wonder what type of rope holds up the best to "roof juice" and abraision.  5/8" seems to be the norm for camlocks and other gear.  Also,...

No New Posts Winterizing pumps
For all the northerners:  How do you winterize your gear?  Some cold nights are coming and I'm thinking of pumping windshield washer fluid through the equipment to prevent freezing.  Then I'll be able to pump it out when things warm up and hit any available roofs.

No New Posts Comparison between fatboy and 5850 questions
For those of you that have used both what would you say the distance is for each pump? I've only used the 5850 and it is a great little pump but there are sometimes I wish I could get a little more distance out of it. I have a 5850 with 200 ft 5/8 hose I'm thinking about the fatboy with 200 ft 3/4 hose.
