Yes.  That price is way too high.  Call Pressure Tek or PWP.  Should be around 120-130$

I know PWP is $124, it's good to know though that Tractor Supply carries them if your in a pinch. Was it stocked on shelf or order item?

That pump is only 45 psi. The pumps most of us use are 60 psi.

Hey Kevin I have been to a tractor supply near me and saw the same thing. They only have a few of the Delavans and a couple of roller pumps. But I have been really tempted to grab one of those deisel fuel pumps that are 12V and I think 12GPM. I have to check them out more. If you are there again can you check them out and see what the specs are?
I always thought there might be a way to make a gun out of one of those gas filler uppers too. They are probably stainless.

Delevan pumps are made cheesy. I know Bob at Pressure Tek takes them apart and reassembles before he ships them out to make sure they last a little bit.

Is that a fact?? I have a fat boy that I have been using for over a year, cleaned 106 roofs so far with it, and it has only been washed out twice in its life. And it still works and shoots as good as it did day one. Sounds pretty cheesy to me!!  Do you speak from experience or rumor?

I've got about 50 roofs and 20 or so houses on mine without any incidents. I rinse mine a few times a month. And I use mine to transfer straight 12.5% SH a few times a week!

Ditto for me. I got mine from Lori tho. I have close to 700 gallon of SH through mine and not a problem. Rinse every night and keep it full of water when not in use

Straight from the horse's mouth of the company that sells the most of them. The design is cheap but then again so is the price. I have not had any problems with the Fat Boy running a cooling fan and keeping it clean. Don't shoot the messenger. handshake.gif

We have used a couple of fat boys that have not lasted as long, but I think they also used some 20-30 nozzles. The Utor pump is working the best it has done over 300 this year and no problems but we do rinse it out after every use and can use any nozzle.
