No New Posts Bagging Gutters?

Hello friends! I had a question for you experts regarding bagging gutters.  I noticed in some of the pictures you all posted you all had garbage bags tied to the gutter spouts.  Is this to catch the chemicals as they drain through the gutter so they do not get on the lawn and landscaping?  If so, then if th...

No New Posts Future of Shingle Roof Cleaning

(Preview)
I was just talking with a roofing contractor the other day and of course we got on topic of roof cleaning. He told me that about 3-4 years ago asphalt shingle manufactors started putting either a algae inhibitor or got rid of the limestone filler in the shingles. I know they offered this a while back with...

No New Posts Which nozzles to use with the Delavan 5800 (Preview)
I am using a Delavan 5800 for roof washing. I am currently using a 0030, 0040, 1/4" barb and a 65 degree soap tip for spraying chemicals on the roof. So far, I haven't had any problems. But, I am wondering if any of you use any other tips and if so, which ones?

Just curious if you guys use just one coat on average?  I know the severity of the infestation is the critical variable, but do you guys generally apply more than one coat?   Thanks and have a great weekend, Brad

I bid my first job this week, 3700 sq ft 2 story home in a prominent neighborhood. Shingle one layer roof. I think I may have over bid (which I do not mind vs. under) for $475.00 an extra $100.00 for build up of moss. I then gave a 15% discount as advertised on my homepage. Roughly $490.00 Sad part is I am not re...

This roof is the largest roof I have had to clean. In fact, I think this is the largest home I have ever been to. There were only two of us cleaning this roof and we were worn out by the end of the day! The people were the nicest clients I have worked for yet! They couldn't stop complimenting me about how nice th...

It seems that many non-pressure roof cleaners also do "pressure washing".  I've read about using "our LOVE" on other things around the house.  I also realize (I think) that this chemical cleaning is referred to as "soft washing".  I do NOT do power/pressure wa...

No New Posts Worst Gutter System (Preview)
I did a roof the other day that lulled me into a false sense of security. The gutter system was homeowner done and all plastic. It didn't seem to have any holes or cracks anywhere so I wasn't real worried about mix dripping down from random spots on the gutter. What I was not ready for was the fact that there...
