There's was a hail storm here in the Houston area on January 9th, so I've been busy with that side of the biz.  I met an adjuster yesterday and he had a Ladder Max Stand Off Stabilizer.  I've never seen one before but I bought 4 today.  It extremely stable and the best part it mounts on the ladder in seconds, so you can take it off the ladder for transport. Very interesting Tom.  I have several roof cleaning ladder stabilizers that I bought from AC which are great but they attach to the roof cleaning ladder permanently.  They are very stable because they are 4 ft wide.  But...  Sometimes I need to use a roof cleaning ladder in a tight space.  I like the foot print of this roof cleaning ladder stabilizer so long as it is very stable & sturdy.  Please keep us posted once you get these roof cleaning ladder stabilizers in and have had a chance to try them while roof cleaning.

The few times I used the stabilizer yesterday I felt safe. Very stable and the rubber boots where much better than the bolt on stabilizers that I've been using. I'll keep you posted. The hail storm was close to you, 99 and Fry. Big homes and Big hail. I'll post some pictures.

 Hwy 99 & Fry is right in my back yard almost.  I visited with a previous customer who lives in that area last Wednesday and she told me they had softball size hail for almost 15 minutes.  So much for getting to clean her roof....  All of her glass beads on here windows were broken and she wanted me to clean her perimeter wooden fence which had been beaten to death by the hail.  The wood fence was well weathered and the hail had made it look poke a dotted because the force of the hail hitting the fence left clean spots in the weathered fence.

I look forward to your posts about this roof cleaning ladder stabilizer.

One cool thing about the Ladder Max is that you can move it up or down the rungs of the ladder in a few seconds so if you need to adjust it for different application, you don't waste a bunch of time with a bunch of wing nuts and washers. Plus you can take it off for transport so you don't look like a Longhorn heading down the road.

Marcus - most of the roofs were less that 5 years old in Grand Lakes, Seven Meadows and Cinco Ranch so they weren't in need of roof cleaning yet. Are you going to soft wash the fence to remove the hail splatter?
