Started working on the set-up, hope this is where I post pictures.
Looks like a waste of a good fishing tackle box to me
Just kidding, but no one I know here in Florida uses a box over their pump, fan or not.
Most here simply mount the 12 volt pumps upside down on the trailer somewhere. Of course, your situation may be different ? All of our roof cleaning rigs are constantly evolving. The important thing is not having to be "perfect", just get out there and start cleaning some roofs! I started Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa with a 12 volt pump, and 200 feet of 5/8 garden hose, no hose reel. I used a donated 5 by 8 trailer and a rinky dink tank. The marine deepcycle battery came from a Boat Junkyard, paid 15 bucks for it, put some new acid in it, and was good to go for a year! My aluminum ladder came from a Pawn Shop, gave 25 dollars for it. This WAS Apple Roof Cleaning, for nearly a year. I rented a room in a home for 150 dollars a month, worked 12 hour days, 6 days a week, pounding doors till my knuckles bled. Looking back, it was worth it. Good luck to you, and welcome !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Chris, I know from reading here you are one of the "Kings" of roof cleaning.
I looked at both systems, air and 12V, and the cost pointed to the 12V.
And of course PT is the only one who has a kit for sale, I want to use a pallet and mount it on the truck.
I was really excited a fews back about the whole thing, then came the small hail storm, and many around here are looking at new roofs, this sort of bummed me out.
If it works out as planned, the Yamada and air compressor are next.
Thanks for sharing your business success with all of us!!!!

Now Chris, thats a story I was hoping to hear over a beer at the convention! I'll buy, if you supply the stories!
Nope, its all in the shed, the ones I had lined out are all getting new roofs, including me, so my 'test' roof can't be touched.......
I have a picture of my set-up on a pallet on another post called HAPPY, but I think I'm gonna get a small trailer....
It's like everytime someone buys a pump from someone else other than Lori they are doomed.
I tried to buy from Lori, but the "quik kit" from PT was priced right, I wish PWP would put a kit together and compete against PT................on the same note I hope to have some extra $$ after my roof gets done to order an air set up from her and keep the box kit for a back up..........

Yea, It aint easy with a crazy idea, to start a company, and no money! I took my dads 24, bungie corded it to my truck, went to court house got DBA, got insured, started cleaning gutters.
Made alot of sacrifices to stay full time Gutterdogs. Wasted thousands of dollars, thinkin it would generate return, I sacrified even more. LOL! Never had any idea how to do what I do now.
At the RCIA you can find role models, pictures of how to build it, PWP to buy it, Everything is here to go out and sell a roof. Awesome pics shared in this thread, Perfect craftmanship. My trailer was put together, 1. before newer stuff was shared, 2. and in a hurry,3. on a tight A** budget, lol. Same day built went out and washed some stuff. Roof was done with pump ups earlier.
I wouldnt have known how to build what I got If it wasnt for the RCIA. And, now, how to make small improvments!
Apple Cider too!!!
Go out there and sell some jobs. I threw out some roof washing hits out of my area to other people. I think it was wisconsin roof wash nobody took?
Its not hard to sell a job. Smile, eye contact, Shake their hand, Talk confidently. Do family members and friends roofs first at a learning discount price. (after the trailer got built! I went out and did some roofs in my neighborhood some rediculous prices). Get your confidence and feel, that way. Rinse the first ones too, till you get the feel how the rain will do. This will lessen the touch-ups for free. I promise a perfect roof.
Youre gonna make mistakes. But far fewer for being here.
Here are some pics of my new roof cleaning aod alo flo pump with electric titan reel mounted on the top of my other 2 hose reels that I bought from Lori last month. There was no room on my trailer to put it anywhere else. The electric titan hose reel is the way to go after you are already tired from cleaning the roofs... No more winding. All you have to do is push a button and guide the hose.

With the zoning laws... I'd have to pay to park that somewhere! ONE day!!!!!
