Kipp one of my guys brought in a hose that was similar. Total homeowner grade piece of crap. Plastic fittings. Just couldn't handle the everyday abuse.

This is the best water hose for roof cleaning we have ever used.

those expandable ones are junk, and i think the id is like 1/2 inch.
