You may want to put some Epoxy around it also. Or maybe just keep some with you.

What a couple of weeks!  Been working full time all day and then trying to finish up my box truck build in the evenings.  I orderd a new 5850 from Bob @ Pressure Tek to use for chemical transfers only.  When I went to tighten up my outlet line,  I cranked a bit too hard and cracked the outlet side of the pump.  I called Bob to see if he sold this part for replacement but, instead of purchasing a new part, he told me how to repair the cracked outlet.  He told me to screw in the hose and put on a hose clamp.  Then fill the crack with super glue.  The crack was quite large so I filled the void with small bits of paper and then filled with the super glue.  2 hours later, it was pumping again with zero leaks.  This fix worked like a charm!  Thanks Bob!

Epoxy works great also Eric. Instead of using Super Glue you should use Super Duper Glue (i couldnt resist). Are you using metal fittings Eric?

Bob's great and gave me a ton of info in the past. For that, we gave him a piece of real estate at the bottom of our website.

He had been great helping me with this build! I may have to do the same on my website. Great customer service and I usually get my orders the next day via Fed Ex! Fingers crossed I get one tomorrow! LOL
