Anybody ever use these before, Leaf spring assist? It is suppose to add 1500 lbs and 2 inches to your truck. We paid $50 dollars for them and it only took 1 hour to install? It rode a lot stiffer after we installed them.
The only problem i see is they might bend the back of the spring. I like the helper springs that go all the way across from front to back. or a bagged system. Just keep an eye out on those springs.
Yea, we were thinking of something along those line. However, we stopped in Auto Zone to get different thoughts from the guys and they said to give these a shot. They were simple and cheap. If additional support is necessary you can add two more on the front side of the spring.
i would look them up and read some reviews on them. It was a long time ago but when i read them there were more than 2 guys that had said thier springs got bent up in the back. I know they are cheap but like the old saying goes you get what you pay for.
Good Pictures!! It is a quick fix for someone with an undersized truck or and older truck that needs a litttle help!! New F-150 is capable of 11,000 gvw when properly equipped.
