Not only should we personally thank a veteran on this day (Armistice day/Vet day) but any day.
I called a couple of friends (brothers/Marines) that I haven't spoken to in 2 years and they both were suprised by the call and deeply touched. We were very close back in HS.
I should keep in touch more often but life branches us out and grows us apart.
Days like these remind us of how petty our daily grind truly is and how much we take for granted what freedoms we have. I look fowards to hiring returning vets not just as an obligation for what they have done for us, but for the structure/sense of work ethic they have that cannot be found in much of the youth of today.
God bless their selfless dedication.

I have two part time NCNG employees and their work ethic is great. Not only that, but they take the initiative and they are also smart enough to ask for clarification when I don't explain something thouroghly enough. I wished them both a Happy Veteran's Day as well as a few other guys I know, but I didn't get a chance to call my Dad before he went to bed so he only got an email. I also forgot to wish the Veterans here a Happy Veteran's Day, so belatedly, Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans who are a part of the RCIA!
