Had to reschedule my second job today, after the past few days of rain and cooler weather somewhat I felt like I was gonna pass out today it is HOT!!!!!. I stayed hydrated as much as possible, did the roof, exterior, screen enclosure and deck, and when I started doing the Driveway that is when it hit me felt a little dizzy and already soaked 2 shirts with sweat.
I am at home and feelin better now, so I am gonna go offshore tonight and try to get some Mangrove Snapper and Flounder hope the fishing is as Hot as te weather.

I feel your pain. We actually had a pretty slow week this week mostly due to the weather conditions. Friday we had a bunch of concrete cleaning to due for one of our Salvation Army locations here in Saint Petersburg. After completing 2 sections in the blazing sun I started to feel it. The problem was that we still had a Roof Cleaning, House Wash and Driveway Cleaning to go do in Clearwater. We made it through the day but I was beat. Went through a bunch of Gatorade! Stay safe out there guys. This heat is nothing to fool around with.
I aint as good as I once was..... you know the rest.... I had a House and drive this week (helper couldn't make it). Big house and drive... could hardly stand by the time I was done. I had to sit in the truck with the air on for about a half hour before I had the strength to wind the hoses and put the stuff away....
I know that feeling, you finish one thing but then you know you still have the exterior or enclosure or something else to do and you are just deflated and want to go inside and sit in the ac and pound a 12 pack of Gatorade. But what about when it is COLD, then you can't wait until you get in the truck and jam the heat. Love spring and fall winter Ehhh, summer Errrrr

Have had the dizzies many times myself when shingling in intense heat. Last year I made a point of coming down off the roof occasionally to take short breaks in the shade, hydrate and eat some fruit. Cherries and watermelon chunks worked for me.( helps to be married ) LOL Pacing got me through the hottest parts of the day until things cooled down later. I'm glad to be spraying more than roofing lately but anyway you look at it we earn our money.

OK, always drink BEFORE you need to drink, to prevent dehydration.
Our guys always start the day by drinking a 32 ounce glass of water. LOL, we know where every Toilet and "friendly tree" is here in Tampa.
I had to really go bad once, and found a tree. A Cop found me, literally with my pants down. He asked me what I was doing, and why I didn't use a bathroom ?
I told him I was on blood pressure medicine that made me have to go (The Truth)
I got lucky, his father was on blood pressure meds too, so he let me go.
