Here is the roof "wand" that I've been using.

The Triple "gang" nozzle has two,.. 0 degree and one fan pattern. The 0 degrees are just brass hose barbs.

The elbow allows for the hose to hang more freely,...especially when working from a ladder. Also provides more of a handle.

The stainless coupler and brass nozzles hold up very well when rinsed thoroughly.

How can you get cheaper than that and still be functional ?

Michael,..now we want to see what you've been using. Ha,Ha...The one pictured is probably about $10,...and the most expensive part is the stainless coupler.

But $10 is cheap it lasted all Summer,..and I will probably start this year with it.

Re- painted of course!

I will be replacing the brass hose barbs (Nozzles) this season. I will be going to regular spray nozzles this season,..the spray pattern that comes out of these hose barbs isn't as fluid as they are from a nozzle designed to spray. They work though, and are readily available.

We used them at first as well. I remember when a lot of guys in the starting days of RCIA were all asking: How do I make a gun?? I guess the pros have put up enough examples at this point that the lurkers can find them easily. Personally I would post these kind of things in the members section. That is part of why it was made, so if you want to share with just the members, you can at least know who you are sharing with instead of the whole world.

I'm not a premium member,..and may not ever be, so I really can't post over there. Bill, are you asking me to keep these ideas off the board?

Here's a pic of mine. It's lasted about 6 months so far.

Schedule 80 pvc and stainless steel with a tri-banger and plastic 1/4 meg nozzles.
Those are 0010, 1510, and 2510 in the tri-banger.

Cost me around $25.00
