Who uses it?  I was thinking of switching to 5/8" from 3/4" Kuritech.  My thought was that its easier to handle and maneuver.  In my first year here its been mostly residential so I havent needed super large volumes to spray.  Most of the time I'm dialing down for accuracy.  I have an air pump with a 12v Fatboy back up.  Would I get enough volume at 200' to keep the 12v from cycling?

Hi Ed I personally hate Kuritech hose, it constantly kinks up. If I ever seen Lori again I think I would take that hose and well ? return it.. I was talking to a guy and he said it was nothing more than expensive garden hose

Although Chris will rightfully say I'd do better by a larger hose, I run the 1/2 inch Kuritech AG hose through 200ft.  This is with a Fatboy and it suits me fine.  It doesn't cycle at all.

I had some poly braid hose, but after a season of being pounded
by our SC sun, it got stiff and difficult to use.
There could be different "grades" of hose, and maybe I had a
lower  grade of hose? That's why I changed to the Ag Hose.

I have 5/8 Kuritech hose to and it always kinks. In my opinion its junk, when it comes to equipment I don't skimp, I was told it was good hose and it's not.

Do you have the AG hose Clyde?  Need to make sure it goes on the reel "straight".

Here is a better pic of the AG hose I use.
It is much stronger than the polybraid, and
has SS MPT ends.

That's exactly what I use 'cept I had to cut off one of the MPT ends on day 1 due to a leak. furious

Clyde - as I understand it, there is a difference between run of the mill Kuritech, and Kuritech AG (Agriculture) hose.  Some have stated that the AG hose is too stiff and heavy for their linking.   Much like you, I prefer the good stuff.  Buy it once as they say....

Ted,

Your right.... Kuritech makes many different types of hose. The Ag hose is a
much better and heavier hose then the hose Lori sold.

I tried to clean a roof at 23F and the hose had ice in it. I thought it was in the reel so I disconnected the hose and bypassed the reel. I had some diluted RV winter fluid but it wasn't enough to stop it from freezing. Can you imagine the tangled, stiff frozen mess of 200' of 3/4" hose in the freezing cold? Anyhoo I balled it up the best I could, threw it in the van. I don't want to re-install it. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. It sounds like poly may be good for only 1 season and you guys are having good success w the 1/2" AG

In fairness to Lori, she also sells AG Hose, as well as the lighter Kuri Tec Hose.
NOTHING lasts like AG Hose, but it is stiff, and harder to use till it breaks in then the softer Poly Briad or the Kuri Tec. It is much like tread on a car tire, General Tires have very soft tread, giving an ultra smooth ride, but wear out fast. Touring type tiires have a harder tread, way more life, but are noisy, and ride stiffer.

Personally I like AG Hose because I am the boss, and I have to pay for the Hose my employees use. My Employees prefer the lighter Kuri Tec Roof Cleaning Hose that Lori sells.
