Ted what can you do with that bucket?

what do you do back up into the drive and clean a normal two story house with a peak, tell me please

Every before and after picture that you have seen me post on the forum has been done via the lift Clyde.  There were a couple from the summer that I couldn't use the lift on, and those pictures weren't very dramatic, so they never made it to the forum.

I don't back in, I pull in forward (it's easier and safer for me given my ground tech isn't a good 'spotter').

Sounds like your spotter is your wife....lol

I've had truck envy since the first time I saw pictures. I even have some sites saved that sell used bucket trucks! Who knows... with the info learned here, the networking and the endless roofs out there... I could see that type of truck in the near future!

Where are the pics of you in the bucket with your Santa hat on?

nice truck Ted, I've always wanted a lift for my gutter and cover buisness but would have trouble getting to the back of the house. Even if there was enough room between the homes, I don't think the homeowner would want us driving on the lawn. How do you handle that problem?

I'm sure he does'nt drive on lawns. he can probably hit the entire roof from the drive.

Im actually starting to like the Idea of a bucket truck.

I also like the challenge of climbing steep roofs with out falling off to.

It's sorta like rock climbing, and plus its good exercise.

@David - you're right!

@Brett - that would be one heck of a company Christmas card  wink.gif

@Clyde and Robert - the truck takes care of about 90-95% of my needs.  There ARE times when I just can't reach everything that needs treated with it, and I break out the ladder.

I have driven on a lawn once.  It was the customer's idea, and he actually insisted, stating he does it all the time.  (5 acre estate lot )

another nice thing about the bucket is that you would always have a good anchor point to tie off with a rope,

for example the roof was huge and you really couldn't cover the entire back side.

I just bought this one

I was in the middle of doing my first roof cleaning job with my new hummer when all of a sudden I felt something cold against my back! It was my wifes cold feet waking me up. no Oh well. It was good while it lasted.
