Well, there is no "messing' with" you put Ammonyx in the same as you do Dawn-except Ammonyx works better and costs far less. There is no downside to Ammonyx, that I see.

What do the customers say about the suds when it rains?
Ammonyx M is much harder to mix thouroughly I feel. I'm not dismissing M I guess, I may just need to try more of it, like I did the Lo.
Lets us know your final opinion.
If a roof has gutters, I don't rinse, if it has a side without a gutter, I rinse that side. So, I don't know if there's much for them to see-except maybe at downspouts? So far, i've never heard a word about suds?
I won't have any further opinion on Ammonyx M until I get more of it. I'm not sure at this point, if i'll be buying more, just to try. I'm very satisfied with the Ammonyx Lo.

Ammonyx Lo works great for me. It`s a surfactant to slow down the running but it`s a lot more. Did you know that it`s one of the main ingredients to make shampoo? So it`s a cleaning agent
Yes, it is a potent cleaning agent! The Myristamine Oxide is better then the Lauramine Oxide, but BOTH are great, compared to dish soap, or anything BUT TSP.
TSP at 1/8 to 1/2 cup per gallon of mix, when used with a little Myristamine, combined with some SHC and water is about as good as it gets for roof cleaning chemical. Yes, TSP is a kind of beotch to use, but it still is an incredible cleaner, just stay under 1/2 cup per gallon of total mix, if using it.

You have to admit it is tough when we are all getting SH from different suppliers. I have 3 up here that we have gone to and I found that each of them are completely different. I know it sounds crazy but it is true. We just use the one supplier now because that is what we started with and like the best.

We use the Lauarmine on all our roofs and we seem to only use 2-3 cups in 100 gallon mix. We try to spray it on thin and it sticks great. If we use more than that on shingle roofs it makes them glare when wet to the point were we can't see touch up spots. I would like to try the Myristamine after we run out of our barrel of Lauramine.
Where is everyone buying their A Lo now that Pwp doesnt sell it. Weve only been through 20 gallons since last April and I hate to go buy a $700 drum right at the end of the end of the year.

Are you going out of business at the end of the year... If you are in the business for the long term buy a drum and get cheaper prices. It does not have a shelf life. Univar carries it in drums.

Thats what Ill probably wind up doing. I was wondering if anyone was buying it in smaller amounts. I hate buy a full drum thatll probably last until 2012.

PWP still sells Ammonyx Lo & Ammonyx M. Lori told me today that PWP will soon have another chlorine stabe surfactant available.
Am-LO and AM-M are CH and SH compatible. The Green Apple does things to the mix and so far in my field tests things are not consistant.
It plays with the pH and the chlorine levels.
Forget the green apple in your roof mix, but I use it in the house wash still.

I agree. If you are like me, your roof tanks are 100 gallon or more mixes= a lot to get weakened by fragrances. However, my tanks for house cleaning are not over 35 gallons, so I use most of it up anyway and don't stand to lose a lot, if a fragrance messes with it's strength. I'd only use it on fancypants homes anyway.

I called pwp last week to order 10 gallons to finish the year with. The girl who answered the phone Let me know rudely that because people had been talking crap about them and accusing them of watering down the soap they WERE NOT selling it anymore.
Im done with that crap. Its not the first time Ive called and had to listen to stuff like that.
Rex did give me some insightful info and help me get my pump running again the other day.
