I have thought about this name a few times since seeing this post and I cant make up my mind if I like it or not. 

stainedroof is negative as was stated earlier. I always think about billboards or signs on a vehicle.  what is catching your attention for 30 seconds as you drive by?  I picture stainedroof.com on a billboard and it does catch my attention and maybe the customer driving by makes the connection to having black chit on his roof and goes home and looks up your site, but i don't connect to that name as much as I do some others.  That is just my opinion.

Chris is right about a regional association in your name even though I didnt choose that for my name, I have been buying other regional roof cleaning domain names in my area and state just to have them.

Buffaloroofcleaning, rochesterroofcleaning, binghamtonroofcleaning, nyroofcleaning, newyorkroofcleaning, syracuseroofcleaning, ellicottvilleroofcleaning, roofcleaningbuffalo, roofcleaningrochester, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc . yep spending money but I hope to use them down the road and even if I don't no one else will......

Its good to own stainedroof though, whether you use it or not....
