Wow! All that takes me back! I never had an issue with fans freezing. Restaurants need more than hoods cleaned.
Windows Awnings sidewalks parking lots play area in some locations, roofs cleaned drive thrus dumpster areas Cleaning rest room exhaust fans Truck stop showers (Nasty) Filter service (Hood Filters) Parking lot stripes
Ive done all these services. There is money to be made in the winter. Everything listed in red I have done in the "dead of winter"
I was never certified in hood cleaning. I am not saying one should not be, I just never did. I have been doing it for 27 years.
Dwayne don't you live in Florida? Winter shouldn't be an issue for you, but it is up north.
Only lived in Florida for 10 years. I use to schedule my customer (KEC) back to back and work 7 days a week from Sept. unitl Thanksgiving. Snowfall usally started around first-second week in Dec. It would keep me from missing work due to black ice and snow drifts. Not to mention Deer the size of Big Foot!! One of those in your headlights at 3 am will scare the CHIT out of you and him!
Plus it opened me up for cold calling and bidding in the winter months. I also did filter service as well, so if I missed an appt is was not a major deal. I hit those during open hours. I do miss the filter service most of all. Small money, but frequent visits. Network city!
Born and raised in South Eastern Illinois...home of corn and small town rodeos!!
I also had to be careful in the spring due to melt off of snow and ice. It would flood small towns and back roads.
