So far Realtors have been a great source for us. Payment has not been an issue as the owner or the purchaser has paid for the cleaning upon completion... Hope this heps

Best of luck
Chris is their any particular way you market your-self to realtors?
I think if you work on some homes that have been sitting, you may almost have to be prepared to wait until settlement. Just get the Realtor to be upfront with you. If they know you can wait a few months to get paid, they may be more willing to call you.

Good advice. We have 2-3 customers a week that do not pay at completion and most pay promplty, but at least one is slow about it. We have only had 2 no pays in 6 years with about 700 clients. One of them even payed us cash a year later and we billed them and extra $60 on the job and now they havn't payed that, lol. Maybe they will call us again this year with last years cash??
Oh yeah, as far as Realtor and commercial work, I would suggest a net term contract for payment. Most are going to pay at least 30 days out. We did have a third no pay, I forgot about. It was for $4,000 on a commercial building in DC. We were subcontracted to work with another Pressure wash company removing mortar tags from a 4 story new construction condo complex. We had no written contract and we never received the money. This was 3 years ago.
Yes, we call and speak to the executive broker. Give them a brief overview of what we do and ask to speak at their next broker meeting. Usually get an appt for 1-2 weeks out and about 70-80% success rate... seems some brokers don't have these meetings or do not allow anyone to speak at them anymore... Always check to see how many broker/info packs you'll need to bring... Donuts are a good idea also...
hope dis "heps"
