This is my old friend Tim Asleton Softwashing Tallahassee Florida cleaning truck. Tim is an old friend of mine, and Mike Sullivan's. I called him a few minutes ago, to try and get him on the RCIA Forum. Tim is the one who posted and did the hose diameter real world flow tests. He got real busy, and seldom posts anymore. Is this a bad azz cleaning rig, or what ?
I love that truck. When we came to Orlando a couple months ago we stopped in to see him and the truck on our way back out. Best set up Ive ever seen
Yes, it sure IS !!!!!!!!!! I remember back when Tim first bought the truck, and we watched it go together, piece by piece, from pics he provided. It is quite impressive!
I remember seeing pictures of that truck as Tim built it. As I recall that truck had a dove tail on the back that he cut off and replaced it with a custom hand built diamond plate bumper that looked just like a fire truck. Looks awesome.
Hey guys since we are talking about truck set ups, what do you recommend for someone starting out. Trailer, flatbed, box van. See my dilemma is that all I have to drive is a small Colorado truck. I am not sure it can haul too much weight like a trailer. So I was thinking about getting a 12ft box van with a gate life to put all my stuff inside. Comments?
Oh and another thing. Another plus for the box van is that it is the same height as tractor trailers which should make it a breeze when I pick up my chemicals at the loading dock. I am also hoping that I can store the drums of SH in the van as well which eliminate the need to rent a storage facility.
My goal is to get a flatbed truck when first got into roof cleaning i started looking around on the forums and i ran into that picture and said wow that's a nice truck he did a great job setting it up.

Flatbed is easiest to work off of, hands down. But a case can be made for the rolling billboard of a box truck, , or the use of a trailer. It is all a compromise, pick your Poison.
