I know the feeling they all sound like great products to use, Its now a money game. I believe I am going with the Fatboy setup and a smaller delavan for a back up. Then in the future I will graduate to the All Flow unit.. I am also new to the business and I have talked to both Lori and Bob, They are great people and really know their business well.
One thing you can always keep in mind, I know we all have to watch our money here because times are hard and we try to stretch out every penny we make. If most are like me you spend money you make to try and improve on your equipment or your business in some way or another to grow. If you want to use a delavan than go for it, if you want to use a air pump than do it. If the all-flo is to much money than think about a yamada and move up when you can. The all-flo 1/2 in/out is over 600.00 bucks, the yamada 1/2 in/out is 415.00 and it is a poly pump with viton seals for chemicals. I keep mine rinsed after each use so which ever you choose either electric delavan or an air pump all-flo or yamada you can call lori or call BPH PUMPS and get a yamada for a few years then move up to an all-flo if you wish later. Good luck everyone.

Hey, i was just looking at your website, and saw that you use a harness. What do you tie off too? Ive heard some ideas from others, but always like to hear more.
When I first started we use counter weights in the back or front or tie off to trees, also we used the hitch to tie to but that was in the day when I used a shurflo pump and 1/2 " hose. I haven't used a harness for almost 3 plus years now just because the 5850, fatboy and now the yamada we use for the most part give use the distance to stand on the roof where we need to or just stand on a ladder and shoot up. As for those days of the harness I still carry them for when I have to fix shingles for someone or replace the vent seals but I do not miss them at all usually it felt like my nuts was getting shoved up into my gut, lol. Do not miss that feeling at all.
