Good Job Rick...seems like you didnt need my help after all!

Let me make a couple of suggestions. Some were already made, but ill make them again anyway.

1. Make sure that the barrel will not tilt at all when it is full. If DOT stops you and you do not have it properly secured, you could face hefty fines. Also, if the barrel falls off, you could spill chemical all over the roadway and be fined/sued by the city. Worstly, if it falls off and causes a wreck, your roof cleaning days would most likely be numbered. Better to be safe then sorry.

2. Your Hose. For now it will work. But make sure you clean it out when you are done to avoid the SH eating it. BE CAREFULL!! If that hose bursts while cleaning, you could get love all over you and worse, in your eyes!!! SH will eat the hose with no problem so just be cautious.

3. Make sure you spray off your trailer after every use with water. The love will detroy it over time.

4. Check the strap over your tank after every use. That will be eaten in no time.

A couple of questions...

1. Where is your battery located?
2. Do you have an on/off swith for your pump?
3. What is the white box in the back of your trailer for?

Blake,
- I went with the the 115 VAC pump so I just plug into an outlet. No battery
- No on/off switch, thought about adding one...just not yet.
- It's the 100ft of rinse hose.

Thanks for the input.  I'm not too excited about the straps either but just haven't figured out the best way to do everything.

I agree, the hose is crap.  This is the first thing I'm going to upgrade...just want to get a few roofs under my belt and some of the money back I currently have invested.

Thanks for your response.

Thanks everyone for the advice.  I have decided to make another modification.  Made slots into the barrel, so the straps will not slip.  I realize they will still deteriorate due to the shc and will keep a close eye on them until I find a better solution.

Went with the "hide-away" for the 200 foot of hose....I will be purchasing a reel and hose from Lori soon

I posted a picture of the slots I put in the barrel.

I'll get a few roofs under my belt and then maybe the rig won't look so elementary after doing more mods to the trailer... I do want to appear professional, just will take a little time.

THANKS EVERYONE!!

Hey guys just curious. If you get your SH in barrels how do you get it out? Can you recommend a transfer pump or your preferred method? I have seen some pumps that have a gallon meter attached which can be really helpful.
