I'm running 3/4" hose w/Fatboys and big 60 -70 tips and have had the same issues.  I've attributed it to my draw tube.  Because somewhere, the pump is STILL sucking air?

I'm going to just redo the whole thing with a larger tank and if I still have problems, well, hellllooo new air pump!

MR. Mike S. is probably our best bet, think he has experience with these types of set-ups (Fatboys).

Dan,  My Fatboy has been doing the same thing.  It will be flowing love real good 15 to 20 feet and then all sudden it will spit air and drop down to 5-10 feet.  I too think I'm sucking air somewhere.  Let me know if you find some other problem. Thanks,Doug

run it while spraying back into your tank and listen to the pump. Is it cycling? if it is the flow is being restricted. 3 gpm nozzles on my 5850 did that but fixed after going to 4 gpm nozzles.

Ive been using the fatboy for a year now, i can not say I have that problem but seems like I did experience this early in the season and it was cause my battery was low on charge...
This does sound like an air problem... trouble shoot your fittings.. my best suggestion...
good luck
