There are a decent number of marketing hints, tips, tricks, and useful ideas I am about to share with all of you as well for FREE..

Everyone LOVES something for NOTHING, Right?   Me too ! 

I have had quite a few good cleaners, take me under their wing and help and guide me during the startup phases of this business and along the way I have developed a few techniques of my own.

I use these to have local high School kids put out my doorhangers. Pretty Slick, Huh?



Believe me , you want 2 of these in your marketing arsenal.

They make quick work of door hanger delivery. Why?

When you are paying highschoolers with loads of energy but empty pockets, you want quick delivery of fliers, door to door and you want all your marketing material delivered, not trashed.

Also, and this is key.... You DON'T want walking to become such a drudgery for them that the kids you hire will never return to help you AGAIN after the first handout campaign.

You have to make it fun. And to that end, these things are a BLAST to ride.

They are the MERCEDES of two wheeled scooters. They can easily take small road imperfections in stride and slip between parked cars with ease and can zip right up to the front door and back to the street in SECONDS. 

1000 fliers / door hangers out with two people in (2) - three hour weekend mornings.

Now, thats getting your flier groove on.

They hold up to 300lbs. and they are FAST.

Yes, you could go with electric powered but they are far to expensive to be cost effective and they suffer in adverse climates and do not hold up to water very well.

What you do with these is to get your marketing materials out to as MANY houses as you can during the SPRING and SUMMER months and get your message out to as many homeowners as possible.

Use this as a COMBINED method of advertising with your other marketing efforts.

Don't just do this and nothing else, do this, yellow pages , web marketing, cable television, local papers, inserts, etc.

Most people are number of times people. What I mean is.... 

"They need to see it , hear it, touch it, smell it before they BUY IT."

Most, if not all customers need to trust you, BEFORE they will BUY from you.

Its your job to get them to do that and after that you need to make a connection by making a friend.

Remember this , its very important!

"Make a friend, Brother Roof Cleaners, and MAKE the SALE"

Show them how you can help them make life easier.

Show them how buying from you "Doesn't cost, it PAYS tm"

Show them wear it hurts, let them feel the need to heal by using your product offering, then HEAL them, with a reasonable , cost effective, sensible solution.

Look, I'm going to be blunt here, but its for your own good. Use this. I am giving you a marketing idea that is a gift from the Roof Cleaning Gods.

Yes, it's simple, and yes it is effective and of course, its UNIQUE.

Yes, its one of the MANY methods I include on diverse strategies of marketing in my upcoming book, and YES, I think OUTSIDE the box.

And you know what, you should TOO.

Some of you younger, new to this opportunity types may shrug your shoulders and shake your head and say, oh, there goes Dave again on his soapbox. But, frankly, who else is giving you FREE school of hard knocks GUERILLA MARKETING strategies like these on this board?

Not many, if any? Try this. Use it, work it and it will work for you.

Do all of this in your flier or doorhanger campaign.

Do this often, change it up, keep it fresh and keep it regular and you will OWN your market.
