Yes I have gotton a few sweet deals at auction. I have dealt with Ritchie Brothers  www.rbauction.com and Bid Spotter  www.bidspotter.com/  in the past with good results. Also Google local auction houses in your area. Good Luck

Try Craigslist ?

check out LYONS AUCTIONS. He is one of the biggest auction company's on the eastern seaboard.  He deals with alot of trucks and also heavy equipment.
His name is Alex Lyon and son auctioneer. He has many sales all over the country and you will have to check out his website to see where he will be holding his next auction.

I went to a county auction today. Many good deals. 6 firetrucks sold for $1000 each. I am working with one of the auction winners to sell me the two BIG electric reels that were on the back. they each have 100+' of 1" hose on them. I offered $200 for both. He is supposed to call me when they get it moved. I thought about buying a whole truck. I would call the Biz. Firehouse Roof Cleaning, and set the truck up with a heck of a rig........ Just hate to buy the gas for it disbelief Check your county for auctions. I bought a car from an Allentown PA County auction online for $500. I drove up, trailered it back to SC, and the wife is still driving it.
