Here are some recent pictures of a LARGE Thomasville, GA home in the country.

This PREMIERE home is a mini-estate on 7 acres that we recently cleaned using the non pressure roof cleaning method recommended by the Roof Cleaning Institute Of America as the safe and proper algae removal and treatment  method for asphalt and fiberglass shingle roofs.

This roof cleaning and treatment was performed by Roof Clean USA tm on 04-12-09

Hey Dave! That Thomasville Georgia roof cleaning looks great! What was your clean time on that? And how big was it?

Do you rinse the roofs? They look really really clean!

Great Job!

Hey Buddy!

Thanks for the "Atta Boy" biggrin !

I appreciate that coming from you, Scott, of Confident Roof Cleaning Houston TX

Hope your doing lots of Quality Non-Pressure Roof Cleaning in Houston, TX now that Spring is officially here and in full swing.

To answer your questions:

#1

The clean time would have normally been 3-4 hours (unroll to roll up) on this roof.

It took us (3 guys) almost 6 hours do to "Training" AND Cleaning.

Some TERRIFIC guys from West Virginia from the RCIA board came down to Georgia LEARN how to properly perform Non-Pressure Roof Cleaning.

It takes MORE time to TEACH roof cleaning, showing how to mix cleaning agents, how to unroll, tarp, be the groundsman, EMPHASIZING how important it is to keep everything WET in the drip edge ZONE (non- guttered) and actually PERFORMING the clean and treat at the SAME time.

#2

The Home was 5/4 I believe (5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms) with a large attached Entertainment room (25x25) approx. 3750 sq. - 4,000 feet of living space (under air). The roof surface was substantially more.

It gave me a great roof to show the capabilities of the LARGE capacity 15 GPM AIR AODD cleaning agent pumping system I built for them.

#3

As far as rinsing goes. NO RINSING on this one. I use the WEATHER CHANNEL and work with MOTHER NATURE to clean roofs safely, while being environmentally conscious as well by CONSERVING water when possible.

Letting Good old, MOTHER NATURE do the rinsing helps to give that

"squeaky clean" look.

We had a good downpour 2 days after the cleaning and roof treatment was applied.

It gave the cleaning agent plenty of time to sit on the roof surface and kill all the residual mold/mildew spores and thoroughly TREAT for Gloeocapsa Magma, the blue green algae we encounter down SOUTH here in Georgia.

We came back by to take the AFTER photos and we sprayed an ample amount of liquid fertilizer (we do this at NO CHARGE as an EXTRA MEASURE of Protection for OUR customers) around the property to protect the plants from any possible shock from the cleaning agent runoff (the runoff was minimal, maybe 7 gallons) total.

Total Apple Cider Sauce was approx. 85 gallons. We re-treated the NORTH side TWICE.

This roof cleaning job here in Thomas County, GA REALLY just turned out , SUPER nice and I am GLAD to have had the wonderful help from my fellow RCIA brothers to do this job.

Working WITH them made for a pleasant work day.

Overall, Roof Clean USA tm of Thomasville, GA and the Homeowners of this well kept property, are REALLY pleased with the exceptional results of the BEFORE and AFTER effects of roof cleaning using the methods outlined here on the Roof Cleaning Institute Of America.

It works newbies, students, Homeowners, etc..

If you follow our detailed cleaning methods as outlined.

We recommend using a licensed and insured professional to perform your next roof cleaning if you are a homeowner reading this.

Professional Roof Cleaners make a tough job look easy.

The Professional Roof Cleaning Contractors, CERTIFIED by the RCIA will be able to help you achieve similar results.

You will see similar RESULTS too!

Hope this helps. Have a GREAT DAY!

6 hours for that much roof training and all aint bad at all!!

Let me ask you this now. What do you treat the roofs with afterwards? I would like to offer more than a 2 year warranty, but dont trust it to stay clean longer than 2 years w/ just the cleaning...You can PM me if you are willing to divulge and dont want it in the open...

And to answer your question...YES, we are doing LOTS of Houston, TX roof cleaning. We are on track tp double last years #'s.

WHAT RECESSION!?!?!?!? LOL

Sometimes, Common Sense, IS NOT so Common?

This was a helper (not mine) that decided he needed some sun. disbelief

I got him to at least, stay UP wind from the chemical spray while he was flushing the home's plants with clear water.

I wish he would have had a shirt on too.

He was on my job and it wasn't very respectful of him to stand in my pics without a shirt.

This is one of those moments you wish you could have gone back and done differently.

I would have been more hard on him keeping a shirt on if he had been an employee? He was a friend of a fellow roof cleaner who was just helping out watering the landscape.

As it was, he never should had his shirt off at a customers home.

This is a good learning experience for the new guys cleaning roofs.

Always control your work environment or it will control you.

Image IS everything. I KNOW this but didn't put my foot down in this situation and stop it.

I regret it now as this GUY is in MANY nice shots of this home we cleaned the roof on in Thomsville, GA

Sorry, for the shirtless groundsman, guys.

Next time I am going to have to post a sign that reads,

" No Shirt, No Shoes, No SERVICE"

Man, I am sooooo glad that 99.9% of the roofs I do have gutters. That pitch and no gutters had to make a lot of work for the ground man.

Morning Jeff,

It would be nice if 1/10th of the homes here had gutters. Most DO NOT.

We have to use different methods to clean non-guttered homes.

Mostly we try to lay cleaning agent on in light coatings and it helps that we have a fast pumping system as we go over the roof with Several light coats of cleaner rather than "SLATHER" it it on and have MAJOR runoff.

Plus, we use a surfactant enhancer method which adds more cling and foam which allows more "hang time"

Many homes we do have these type of similar pitches and also have no gutters.

We are careful about runoff due to environmental concerns so we don't rinse often and let the weather do the work.

We incorporate tarping and watering and BECAUSE of Roof Clean USA - Georgia's commitment to the customer to achieve excellent results with ZERO pressure or damage.

Since we pride ourselves on our ATTENTION to DETAIL we don't run the groundsman ragged as we have minimal runoff.

We may have had 10 gallons or LESS in total runoff of DILUTED cleaning agent that we collected at the valleys and diverted to 5 gallon buckets located in strategic areas around the home to protect plant root systems from possible runoff exposure.
