For all of you inquiring about lifts, the ones we use are th 35' and 50' towables. these are great due to the fact that 2 people can muscle them around. also like in our case we have a 4 wheeler specifically for when we use these lifts, that has a ball on it so we can get the lift in and out of tight area without damaging the yard with the weight of a trucks. this way you can get in peoples back yards. if you work out a deal with your local rental place you can get them pretty cheap. ours run about 150 for the day. hope this helps. also one more thing, a lift can sometimes be more trouble than its worth so make sure you can't just do the job without it.

Good stuff ! Agreed, we only use a lift as a LAST resort.
The towables are MUCH less cost, and a 4 wheeler is a great idea. My head roof cleaner Kevin also had the idea of getting a 4 wheeler vs buying a powered 4wd lift.
If you have any pictures of your lifts, or you using them, please post them ?
We have had to use lifts on a few occations. They now have lifts with spider legs that adjust themselves and level off with a push of a button. those are sweet. Haven't used one yet though. Here are a few of the lifts we have used. Some for Roof Cleaning and some for Hurricane Shutters that we install and take down for a clients commercial building in Largo Florida each year. We've used some from 45footers to 80 footers.
Nice pics of lifts for roof cleaning and other applications.
It has been a while since I have had to use a manlift of any kind but they definately have their place and are a godsend when there is no other option.

Found a place in Tampa Larry with GREAT deals on lifts to rent for roof cleaning.
I've used them, but they make me nervous!!! Talk about possible damage to a home!! Man, with one of these things, the wrong turn and the yards tore up, the wrong push of a handle and the house it tore up! I now feel I have enough work, that if it requires a boom, the homeowner can keep on looking for another roof cleaner-with more nerve! {Or ability with cherry pickers! ]
Just watched your You Tube Video of Roof Cleaning In Long Island, NY.
Great job on the Roofs and what a great, simple, short and to the point roof cleaning video.
Very Nice! Good Job! You should be proud.
Glad to have you here on the forum.
Best,
David W.
Dave, I did Charlie's Signature. Lacking a web site, I stuck the roof cleaning video in there for him. I worked out really well. Yes, I watched it, and I LIKE it. Short, sweet, to the point.
