I found your site online and am looking for directions for residential roof cleaning. I am in the Memphis, TN area and want to know what you charge to clean streaks from residential roofs.
Help!? I guess i have two left thumbs... HOW do i post pictures? I see the add/edit image icon but i dont understand how to pull these pics from my computer. Im sure im about to feel really dumb when this gets answered haha thanks in advance!
No problem Chris. Just hit the attach files button in advanced editor. Then hit browse for each picture you want to load one at a time. When you hit a browse button it will allow you to navigate your pc files, go to the folder that has your pic, highlight the pic and hit ok. Then repeat at the next browse button until you have all the ones you want. Then hit upload files followed by submit post and you are done!
Hey Everybody. I am a former real estate agent, former computer technician and presently driving a truck over the road.
Our miles are being cut back and I have been looking for a job for 2 years. Since I am beyond the prime age that companies are looking for (52) I have decided that I am the only one that will hire me, so we are joining you guys in the wonderful world of low pressure cleaning.
I have been reading the forums and have gained a lot of information. You guys are amazing.
I am excited about the low-pressure roof cleaning business. Between my wife(Val) and I, we have an extensive network to market to. But since we don't have any pictures yet, I would like to use some of yours.
I will use some of the residential pictures you have already posted, but I will be marketing to some of our friends that have businesses so I am looking for some commercial pictures. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
As we develop our company's image, I will fix our signature.
Thanks,

i do not think it is right to use other peoples hard work for your benefit. What i would do if i were you is go to a friend or even your own house and clean it. Take before and after pictures so you dont have to use anyone elses. You can even try your local church and donate your services for before and after pictures. We all have to start somewhere and i did the same thing i am telling you to do. Do Not use other peoples pictures to represent yourself. Use U to represent yourself. This is just my strong opinion.

Keep a positive attitude and have an open mind. Every job will add to your learning curve at first. I have been doing this for 14 years and have 2 years on you. We are not too old and I would not go back to working for someone else ever. Using your own pics is a wise idea in case your customer asks for references and they often do. Offer to clean the roof of a small local church. Make sure and practice taking pics of roofs before hand. You will find that a tripod is a good investment if you want before and after pics. Be prepared for sunlight time differences between when you start the job and finish. You may have to come back the next morning to finish your photo shoot. Make sure you mark the spots where you take your pics in case you do have to come back. Good luck!
Here are a couple of roof cleaning jobs I did this past week. The light gray job was a freebee I did for a customer of mine. After we did his siding a couple of years ago, he told me that he wanted to replace his roof because it looked so bad. I explained that I had a few other customers who had told me the same thing and that there was nothing wrong with their roof either. The rest is history and I felt like I owed the guy a free roof cleaning as long as he let me win at golf.
P.S. Hmm. Whattya know? This is my 100th post! Timing is everything.
