Hello Bruce! No, the old days were fun and interesting here. I don't do much of anything online anymore - or in real life, for that matter! I'm a physical wreck - just went back up to 10 prescription meds a day some of which, I take 2 or 3 a day of. My back / neck pain is so bad, I have to take two and 1/2 10mg Oxycodone pills twice a day. I actually need it more often than that, but, if I take it after 5pm, there's no sleeping! I'm almost 70 and because of the rough years from 18 to 27 - gang fights etc, [ Mongols ] I'm left to pay the price, for what was once fun for me! So, I guess I got what I deserved! Wish I could go back and change that stuff!
Fortunately for me, I have a son who has worked for me since 1994 and he is a flat out good man, husband, father and son / worker. He and the worker I hired in 2014 do most all the manual labor, while I sit around on ice packs!
Are you still cleaning a lot of shake roofs up there? Your friend, Chuck
Yes i do give credit to chris for helping me when I first started. We are growing every year. We had our best 3 yrs in row. We have more competition but that was to be expected with all the free information out there. Im glad your no longer doing the work and now you can relax a little just not too much. Haha.

Well,..I prefer the old days,..when knowledgeable people ruled the boards.
I hear you! Many of the so called roof cleaning groups on Facebook these days are like Stevie Wonder, driving Ray Charles around! The Blind leading the Blind!
There are many advantages to posting on a forum, vs hanging out on Facebook. This Tile Roof Cleaning Blog on the new RCIA Forum shows up on the front page of Google here in the Tampa Florida area for any tile roof cleaning search. Of course, after over 25 years of cleaning roofs, much of our work is repeat business, or word of mouth. But that Blog brings in a considerable amount of new customers, who are basically presold, once they see our work.
