Some give a warranty, some don't,..I don't. I give an expectation,..of anywhere from 3-5 years before it even starts back,... depending on their surroundings. Always be clear though, a properly treated roof won't be covered again 3-5 years,..it may start sneaking back in that time period though.

I now live in Myrtle Beach SC and every roof here has Algae Not just one or two in a sub division but every house, not like that up north is it? that is what's driving me to do this roof cleaning. There is one contractor I see in the yellow pages but that's all for 100 miles or so.Do you think with all the humidity we have here roofs will stay algae free for 2 years?

We have ALOT of moldy roofs up here in Pa Sal. If I remember right many guys in the South get 2-5 years without recurrence of mold? But Maybe someone else will chime in and clarify.

We give a one year warranty here in Tampa on all our roofs that we clean, any longer has got us into trouble, especially in rainy years.

Myrtle Beach is a very tough market. (I spent a month there last winter doing a market analysis with another established company.) Needless to say, we did not move forward with it. Come to the table with a diverse offering of services. Even then, it won't be easy. Too many schmucks with trucks working for beer money there. And I politely suggest a whole lot more independent study/research. A whole lot more....

Not being a nay sayer, simply speaking from first hand experience there.

I agree 100%..the "service companies" use the cheapest handy men they can find for the rentals. Upcharge the service call and it's more money in their pocket. While on vacation last year, I saw a lot of "schmucks in trucks".
