Surging All Flo
Permalink

I am having an issue with my all flo system and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

All Flo KV-038 set to 90 psi. All lines clean and free flowing. I am resetting my rig and making sure all works before installed.

With the compressor set at 110 PSI and the all flo set to 90 PSI, when I crack the valve the flow seems to shoot to 40-50' and then down to 30-35' and as the all flo cycles it continues to do this. It will not give me a constant distance.

I am drawing 10' at 3' elevation (tank over pump) with a standard water hose input for testing.

Any thoughts?

try a bigger hose (3/4") and if that don't help, try a bigger air line (1/2"). Any dryers in line or filters?

I will try the larger input. No dryers of filters, just testing system before mounting. I will see if I can post a short video later if it continues.
Thanks Gary.

Sounds like u r running out of air to me, so try buying a larger air tank to hook to the air compressor, so you have some reserve, or get a bigger compressor.

My first question ... is this a new install or did it work before and now it started this issue?

To add to Chris's question,...what compressor are you running? Tank size and CFM?

As we all know, air pumps have a steady pulsation,..is the pulsation steady or erratic?

Any pictures of your installation could help.

Jeff
