Taking apart all-flow

Had our all-flow seize up on us today about 35 miles away from the shop.. Took it apart and couldn't find a diagram to tell me what parts go where.. Soon as I took it apart the spring and everything in it went shooting across the kitchen... Anyways, I got it back together and we will see if it works tomorrow...

A couple shots of WD 40 into to air intake side always gets them back up and running. They have a tendency to seize up from time to time.

yeah I cannot figure it out.. I tool the exhaust off and entered through that way, and the spring came out with 4 other tiny pieces, and I didn't have a adiagram to put it back together with so long story short.. I tried it today and now the air goes straight through and out the exhaust... whoops...

Had to go back and use my fatboy(what a pain) it literally soaks everything to death.. I need to order a pump asap! anyone know where to get one that will ship fast?

Buy one of these Lee http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-5442-versa-matic-e8pp6xpp9-38-pump-polyproplene-body-santoprene-diaphragm.aspx

Just rinse it out after you use it, and it will last a long long time.

Depends on if you mean the Kynar one or not ?

Unless you get the Kynar pump, just stick to the Santropene one.

They are usually in stock

I found the diagram on the all-flow site, ill be attempting that tomorrow after work.

12v- quiet, usually more affordable to startup with

air- longer lasting, longer run times, no over heat, can control the flow to a dribble without burning up the pump, more chem resistant. dont have to charge a battery, can run all day long without the battery running down

The mechanism inside broke on you. You can buy the whole piece for about $60.00. I've had it happen to me once. Its actually an easy fix.

I have had my all-flo stall. I use WD40 im my allflo once a day and i always rinse my all flo at the end of every day. But I need to get a back up and Im never going to order from PWP again. lee keep us posted to how you make out. I woukd hate to lose my allflo and have to go back to my fatboy.

I think everyone who has a 3/8 All Flo Roof Cleaning pump needs to have at least one of these Versa Matic 3/8 air pumps.

http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-5442-versa-matic-e8pp6xpp9-38-pump-polyproplene-body-santoprene-diaphragm.aspx

I discovered these some time ago, and wanted to field test them before I came out and suggested them to people who depend on me, for advice.

Beacon Roof Cleaning here in Florida was told about them by me, and has used them for awhile now, with excellent results!

Beacon has several roof cleaning trucks running Florida, and does a lot of work.

I have also told some other roof cleaners about these, and never have I heard a bad word about them.

Versa Matic is a well known maker of Air Pumps, much more well known in the world of pumps then All Flow.

These pumps are under 100.00 each, so for that price you can use them till they break, then Chitcan them!

Versa Matic also makes a 3/8 All Flow Killer!

And, it only costs 297.00 vs 400.00 for the All Flow 3/8 pump.

Like the All Flow, it has a KYNAR Body, and Teflon Diaphragms!

The Kynar body does have the advantage of never having the need to be rinsed out vs the Poly Body on this pump http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-5442-versa-matic-e8pp6xpp9-38-pump-polyproplene-body-santoprene-diaphragm.aspx

However, the cheaper pump has the advantages of Santoprene Diaphragms vs Teflon Diaphragms. Yes, Teflon has better overall chemical resistance, but for our use with SH, Santoprene is every bit as good, and you get much longer diaphragm life compared to Teflon.

Also, any Teflon Diaphragm air pump will always have less flow/pressure vs any other diaphragm material, cause Teflon is hard, and looses it's seal in the pumps cylinders, vs the more compliant diaphragm materials like Santoprene and Viton.

So, for all you guys using the 3/8 All Flow Roof Cleaning Pumps, you can have a ready to go back up pump for under 100.00, by ordering one of these.

This will allow you the time to either fix, or get your pumps fixed, w/o any loss of business.

Beacon Roof Cleaning is not rinsing the pumps he has out he said, and still getting 6 to 8 months use out of them, and they are a very busy Florida Roof Cleaning Company.

Tile Roof Cleaning Chemicals are hard on pumps, yet the trusty little 3/8 Versa Matic Roof Cleaning Pumps are keeping Beacon in business.

 Yes they do http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-6542-versa-matic-e5pp6x669a-g-12-pump-polyproplene-body-santoprene-diaphragm.aspx

Only 285.00 for a brand spanking new 1/2 inch roof cleaning pump.

It is a Poly Body (not Kynar), so you will want to rinse it out after each job.

As long as you remember to rinse it, it will last a long time.

I ran a 1/2 inch Yamada Poly Pump for nearly a year, back when I was still working. But, I always was sure to rinse my chit out, unlike my employees, who lie, and SAY they rinsed the equipment out, when they never do.
