If you go back and re-read the orginial post, It does NOT say anything about being certified. It says he is AUTHORIZED by "Certifed Soft Washing"or whatever the name of their company is. As a vendor, they are permitted to promote their products and/or sales, Just like Ron does on here all the time. Not allowing that would be like not allowing you or others to post your work/jobs. When competition enters your area, you are forced to do better work than the competitor and offer better service. That should NOT be a problem for you and your experience along with your reputation. Thanks. I just wanted to see if they were self certified with no third party involvement. You also answered my other questions.

 I remember when the bars first advertised naked girls, it took 5 different bars advertising it, to make me actually believe it was true!

Non Pressure roof cleaning is fairly new, and a competitor can actually legitimize it, as long as a deal is made to support prices! 

Ugly Shingles are not whores, nor do they turn out whores. 

If I were Hank Timmerman, I would be at the new forums blogs every day, cranking out posts, aimed at every search term in my area.

Plus, I would make a friend out of my new competitor, and fix prices!

Angel is successful in his other ventures from what I can see.  We already have 5 to 6 guys up this way doing roof cleaning and I've been #1 since March and will continue to be #1. 

 If I should run into Angel one day I'll treat him with the respect he deserves. 

I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the term fix prices.

 Back in the early days of roof cleaning here in Tampa, no one wanted to "face the guys", who cut prices!

There USED to be an unspoken "deal" in Tampa that no one, no matter what, ever got on a roof for under 300 dollars.

And, the few of us back then who were out cleaning roofs tried to be friendly, and support prices.
