Next Thursday we will clean the largest residential roof we have ever cleaned. The house itself is almost 9,000 sq ft. I am lucky the roof is not barrel tile. It is flat concrete tile but steep and dirty. It is located in the Royal Oaks subdivision in Houston Texas. I hope that I can clean it in one day. I have scheduled 2 days to clean in just in case. I sure wish my new 1" all-flo pump was ready to use but instead I will be cleaning it with a pentaflex pump.
Are you going to use a lift? We don't have concrete roofs over here. I'm sure there is some, but I've never ran into one.
No lift Ed. On the bottom left front side of the pic you will see a car in the drive. I will climb the valley to the top level, walk down the center of the roof to the far right side. That is where I plan to start cleaning the roof. I plan to work in a clockwise direction around to the front , to the left, to the back, and clean to the right. Flat concrete tile is easier to clean than a composite roof or a barrel tile roof. You do not have to shoot both sides like a barrel tile roof. Barrel tile roofs have to be shot from the bottom tile going up so that you can get the over lap area. You do not have that with a concrete tile roof. On it you can shoot from either side or from the top down because the tiles do not over lap. They are flat. I plan on shooting a strong 60/40 mix in the interest of time. I want a one shot clean. The gutters all go into drains that come out in the street. Lucky me. I plan on using more than 260 gal of mix to clean it.
How many sq ft Marcus? I think u posted the wrong amount. That's a lot of roof.
Sounds right for River Oaks....we've cleaned a few over there in the 6-7 k range
Not River Oaks Doug, this is Royal Oaks. It is the River Oaks (which is one of the wealthiest subdivisions in Houston Texas) of West Houston. To date the largest roof I have cleaned was on a 6,700 sq ft home in Sugar Land TX. I will be cleaning this with one ground man and my daughter (photographer). I will be video taping the cleaning from above as I am cleaning the roof. I will post the videos on you tube and link to this thread after the videos are edited.
I see what they have listed on the link ( zillow ). I just hope for your sake that # includes and garage and open patios that are covered by tile. Ive done a comparison in the past and have found differnt numbers. We always use the property appraiser web site. It gives a break down of all areas and a total. Just dont wanna see you sell yourself short on that one. The biggest residential we have cleaned was a barrel tile roof
@ 14,000 sq ft. We did that one in one day. Pretty much non stop spraying except for when i had to relocate the rig to access some of the backside. Took us 6.5 hrs with 4 of us. Ive got that one on here somewhere. She was a beast. Lol.

That is one big house Larry at 14k sq ft. I would like to see it. What property appraiser web site do you use? Does it cost?
The property appraiser web site is free to the public. We use the one for pinellas and also for Hillsborough when needed. Here is a link to the Pinellas County Property appraise web site that we use http://www.pcpao.org/
You can search by name or by address. Very easy to use.
Marcus. Here are a few pictures of that big one. I cant seem to find the pics in the back and its not making me happy right now. lol Believe it ir not. This was my roof guy's first day. Figured I would see what he was made of. He did great and I still have him today.

I am sooo PROUD of You Larry!
I liked you right away, though you were nearly ready to quit, and sell your stuff, when we first became friends.
Though you were ready to nearly give up, I saw the awesome potential in you, and stepped in.
I did for you what was once done for me Brother, my time was not "wasted"!
LOL, we "keep what we have, by giving it away".
Now, look at you!
You and your Men have become the dominate roof and exterior cleaning company in Pinellas County!
You are tops in nearly every search term for your area, and you always did immaculate work!
Your work was always second to none, it was GETTING the chance to show your roof and exterior cleaning expertise, that was the problem.
I would say, that :problem: has been fixed, since you are now booked up nearly a month in advance!
I remember you telling me that some idiots said "Watch out For Chris Tucker, he has hidden motives, and will screw you over". behind my back.
Well, they were partially correct!
I do have "hidden motives", to see to it that I pass on to others, what I have learned about what it takes to succeed, in the roof and exterior cleaning business.
I have "came to believe" that when you help others succeed, you get helped to succeed, by the unseen force in this universe called Karma.
