I don't have a horse in this race guys, but at least let's collect facts and try to be unbiased until things are more clear - for everyone's sake?

 

That sitemap is from their website.  Not the RCIA.  Frankly it's their business.  And the city pages outside of the Michigan area?  They've been there for at least a year.  I found out when looking in to Great FAlls VA and found them advertising for Great Falls Montanna.  It's a SEO/page index ploy, nothing more.   Good for them!

 

Anyone stop to think that some of the things pointed out may have been agreed to by Chris, since Bob and Steve committed to spending lots of time tweaking on the forum?  I'd want something for my time too.  Chris will chime in when he's ready.  He's a man of peace and doesn't care for conflict. I sit back and read much of this stuff, and often think many of you are making the Uglies more powerful then they are.  

Sure, they want to sell franchises one day, so what ? Come up with 5 grand, and AC will hand deliver a well trained competitor to a town near you.

Hell, everywhere I go in Tampa, I am faced with my own roof cleaning technology that I developed, used against me! 

The Cat is out of the Bag, and competition is  a way of life in the roof cleaning business. Get used to it.

The Uglies have done quite a lot for the RCIA, for free! As a sort of reward, I allowed them a directory.

They are just 2 guys way up in Michigan. I know for a fact they have shared several leads from that directory with people. 

I see zero evidence where they are "hurting" any RCIA Member. But, as far as that goes, every cleaning forum is a "threat" to every RCIA Member as well. 

I can not tell any of you what to do, you are all grown Men. But if it were me, I would try and stay on the good side of the Uglies. Who knows, you might get some work out of it ?

I do not think they will ever be successful at selling roof cleaning franchises. No one has ever done it,  and been successful for any length of time before.

When we can buy Fat Boy Pumps for 200.00, why pay 5 grand or more for a franchise ?

Perhaps the Uglies want a directory that places in local searches, so they can sell roof cleaning leads ?

Whatever ? Like Ted Says, it is smart of them to do what they have done. 

But, that is their business, not RCIA Business.

ANY of you guys are welcome to copy what the Uglies have done, and I will also help any RCIA Member get a directory off the ground with a link from this forum, and any other pages/forums I control.

 

 

 

Looks. Like everyplace there was a RCIA member, they also have put a splash page for trying to solicit roof cleaning jobs for ugly shingles. We're essentially paying the fox to guard the henhouse

I applaud the Uglies for trying to help the forum and Chris Tucker. I just see a bit too much overlapping in the website help and their own self interest. Maybe Im not smart enough to realize that none of it has no bearing on the other, but I personally would have not allowed the 2 to intersect. I would of been more careful not to create so much smoke so the guys here, my friends, wouldnt be feeling like they're being taken advantage of. Cuz I think thats how a lot of guys are feeling. So dam straight guys are gonna shout about anything that looks and quacks like a duck. Many guys want to be all-in for the RCIA but they just cant. Ya gotta keep one foot out the door so you dont get hurt.
