Versa Matic Roof Cleaning Pumps.

Hey Chris,..do you know of anyone who has bought the 3/8" Versa-Matic pump. They are definitely a good deal.

In my World the all-flo is a proven performer,..and definitely worth the $385.00 they cost,..very cost effective. But mine recently froze and broke,..but it was about 4 years old I guess,..was probably gonna be replaced anyhow for the upcoming season. I will probably buy the all-flo again,..but this time of year I have the time to dig around a little and weigh my options. I'd like to save where I can,..but I don't want to sacrifice performance,..I would sacrifice a little longevity,...I wouldn't mind getting new every couple years anyhow,..just makes me feel better. But stalling and overall performance are the determining factors for me.

Sorry for the late response, I have been very very busy!

Yes, Ryan who owns Beacon Roof And Exterior Cleaning here in Florida uses them, for his trucks.

I told him about them a few years ago. He said he buys the lowest cost one (the 3/8 with santoprene) and tosses them when they break, in about a year.

But, he does a Lot of roofs Jeff, and many are tile, plus he softwashes with them as well!

Versa Matic also makes a 3/8 Kynar/Teflon version (All Flow Killer), but Teflon diaphragms hurt you a little as far as flow goes, vs Santoprene,

LOL, you can get nearly 3 Versa Matic 3/8 pumps with Poly Bodies and Santoprene Diaphragms, for the price of 1 Versa Matic 3/8 Kynar/Teflon pump!

Or, you can actually get 4 - 3/8 Versa Matic 3/8 pumps, for the price of one Kynar/Teflon All Flow.

Hey Chris, I actually ordered the Versa-Matic 1/2" version $285.00. Polypropylene with Santoprene diaphragm. My pumps get rinsed after every use by default anyhow. I have my water tank plumbed into the pump so I can rinse the reel and hose after each use. I pump enough water back through the system into the tank for the next roof mix,..works out well. Kleenrite seems liker a decent company and they do have some really good prices. I ordered it yesterday and will be delivered today. Of course they are in Pa.

Wow, good for you Jeff!

Versa Matic are awesome air powered roof cleaning pumps, and they are about 20 times the size as a company vs All Flow.

Plus, they are carried by a big distributor like Kleen Rite, who are forced to compete in the ultra competitive car wash pump market, so prices are low.

Though prices are low on the Versa Matic pumps, it is not because quality is low. It is because Kleen Rite sells tons of these pumps, into a much bigger market.

They make their money on volume, so we can get a quality air pump cheaper, for our roof cleaning pump needs.

Plus, they have about 100 videos you can watch, telling you how to fix their pumps, and low cost, readily availiable repair parts.

285.00 for a brand spanking new, high quality 1/2 Versa Matic roof cleaning pump is kind of a "no brainer", IMHO.

Santoprene has much longer life "and better flow" then Teflon does.

Just keep that puppy rinsed out after each use Jeff, and you will have a faithful and reliable new companion, that will give you plenty of service life.
