What are the advantages of being a premium member and what is involved in becoming certified? Also when can a member use the RCIA logo on their vans, flyers etc?
Already being a Premium member, you should see the advantages that come with it. Access to all areas of the forum, other members more willing to help and answer questions, etc.. The answer to certification is in the thread on the home page. You may use the loge etc. now just don't advertise being certified until you are.
What exactly am i looking at. As i keep saying mostly all the Important Information on this board is freely out there on other boards. As far as the certification 99% of my customers dont care when i mention to them that we are certified.

the only one I see is a signiture link and promo post.
I always wonder why RCIA never shows up as a backlink when I check my site using backlink checkers like www.alexa.com. I get links from every other forum except this one.
Maybe some more tech savvy members can help me out with this because it seems pointless to create promos here.

I was wondering the same thing Ed. I just recently checked my backlinks, and found none from here but the ones from other forums do.

I will look into this. The Forum Company is closed today (I just called). If you do a National Search for roof cleaning, not only will you see RCIA at or near the top of that search, you will also see that many, if not most, of the first page sites for that search have something in common. They all post here on RCIA, or did at one time !
The DEFAULT setting for this forum is No Follow. I demanded this be changed, and it was. It is possible that due to automatic forum updates I have no control of, that the forum reverted back to the default no follow settings ? This does NOT mean your promo posts will not show up! I will get to the bottom of this, as soon as the forum company opens! The are in Vancouver Canada.
I THINK I may have found the problem Guys! If any of you run Google Chrome, or Firefox, there are extensions (apps) u can get for free, that will tell you if a website is NO Follow! I just installed an app for google chrome, and it shows the forum has reverted back to NO Follow! This is the default state of these Forums. It is easily fixed by the Forum company. Then, Google will recrawl all the previous No Follow Links, and every post, promo or conversational that you have made here, will be reindexed!
You can BET I will raise holy hell for what has happened! I THOUGHT I had this corrected once, and I did! But somehow, it has become unfixed, and the whole forum has reverted back to it's default NO Follow state.
No one has been a "pioneer" in this industry for DO Follow more then me! In fact, the UAMCC Forum was formerly NO Follow, until I bitched, and got them to correct it.
So we should experience a boost in rank? I assumed there are tons of unindexed posts and promo posts.
I would sure think so! I am soo pissed Ed! But Google crawls and indexes the shit out of this forum, because of all the fresh content we all generate!
Once we turn the Google Crawlers loose by allowing them to follow each and every link, they will have a feast! Right now, the Forum is telling them NOT to follow and Index these posts! Many of these forums are set up NOT to follow (and pass page rank) to outgoing links!
This is to combat SPAM! The second Spammers find out a forum (with high page rank like this one) is DO Follow, they can start to SPAM a Forum non stop. Plus, any Forum that is do follow bleeds off it's page rank by passing link juice to it's posters.
The forum company is closed on Sundays, but I am on top of this! LOL, remember, I am in this too! No poster here has anywhere near the links here I do!
But, even if that were not true, I care about all you guys, and want you to do well.

I also checked, haven't seen anything about RCIA. Also I am using safari, not chrome or firefox. Hopefully we see a nice boost. Thanks Chris.
Thanks to all you guys for bringing it to my attention! My personal site is so highly ranked, I never noticed a drop off in backlinks!
LOL, I have so many backlinks, I never check anymore.
I know you have mentioned certain blogs in the past, do you have any other sites that you stratgeticly place your backlinks?
This is a great, often overlooked Forum http://www.cleaningtalk.com/f23/ to join and post for backlinks! Another GREAT relevant forum is Jenkins Slate Roofing. Also, do not overlook the roof cleaning section of The Grime Scene either..
As far as a Blog on PWI goes, not a bad idea either. If fact ANY Blog, forum, that has the Keywords Roofing,Cleaning,Roof is good for us. What we are seeking is not only Links, but RELEVANT Links! This means the forum needs to be related to Cleaning.
Power washing or pressure washing is not as good
I see some of you overlooking this forum http://cleaning-network.forumotion.com/forum, and for the life of me, I don't know why ?
The RCIA's own, and my really good friend Larry Millette is using this forum to get himself on page one with a promotional post for a very very crowded roof cleaning Pinellas County Florida search! It is a dedicated roof cleaning forum, and we have found that it's promotional posts tend to show up. It is also DO FOLLOW !!!!
I have zillions of backlinks there that ARE showing up in Alexa!
EVERY promotional post you make, do the following. Share it an Facebook, both on your own Facebook page, and the Facebook page of the RCIA. Tweet it too, and also share it on Google Plus.
TRY and stick to the roof cleaning sections of multi purpose forums like PWI and The Grime Scene, as well as cleaning talk and PT State.
Speaking of The Grime Scene, it has the potential of once again being a search engine MONSTER Forum, as it once was. It just needs some activity in the roof cleaning section of it again, and it will come back. Here is why. I have zillions of posts there, and when I was teaching over there, before there was this forum, it was THE dominate forum by far, for roof cleaning.
Ron from PWI "lured" me to PWI I guess you could say, and when I was at PWI, IT became the dominate roof cleaning forum.
This is no slam on my friend Ron Musgraves at all! He simply wanted the very best teachers he could get, for all the different sections of his forum.
The Grime Scene also has in house Blogs, if you are so inclined to use them.
