I just registered with the BBB today. I am taking some Chris Tucker's advice. It looks good to be associated with the BBB, althought I feel like I am getting scammed, I want that backlink on my website . I also decided to upgrade to have a link on their page. So I will be getting some more traffic. A few guys have been touching on radio ads, and groupons, how else can we boost our marketing and our SEO at the same time?
Dan
PS If you can't tell I have been shutdown for a week now, so I am going out of my mind. This is my analyze and find tune season.

I have a roof Monday and another later next week. Work has slammed me this year and no complaining. The BBB is a scam. They have the most of the entire nation fooled. That is why I am a member. 1st for SEO reasons. 2nd for a little feather in my hat when I put their clickable online logo on every page of my website that takes consumers to my BBB A+ rating on their website. 3rd I have heard many times that I was chosen because of we have been in business for 18 years and are an BBB A+ rated company .

The BBB is the worst and best scam that ever materialized in our modern society. I wish I thought of it. I'm considering a spin-off company called the The Federal Exterior Cleaning Bureau. It will be nothing more than a directory of exterior cleaning companies that I will extort,
I feel like it is a big time scam, no one checks if their roof cleaner is listed on the BBB. The whole time the guy was just feeding me BS, I wanted to say, look I don't care I just want your backlinks and logo.
I finished my last two roofs today. I am glad the sun came out and I am glad to be finished, next week going to be cold. Already thinking of redoing my trailer and eaquipment.
We had one when I lived in Clearwater Fl back in the 90's. It was called Consumer Ethics Bureau. Did pretty well till the owners got in a bitter divorce battle.

We do the EXPENSIVE roofs, big ones! These people do their homework! BBB Membersip does not cost, it pays! Plus, we have our BBB Link in the local search results! This is DEADLY! Customers see the BBB Website, with ONLY My Company Name and my A+ Rating right IN the local search results. Then, there is that magical backlink guys! My experiences mirror those of my friend Marcus!
Yes, it is a scam, but who cares, if the customers buy into it, and they do!
