Keith from KBK designed mine and a lot others on here for $200 ... I tried my own but lack the know how and artistic ability ... hopefully you'll do better then I did but if it doesn't go the way you planned give him a try ... he also offers logo enhancement if you like your design but just want to polish it up for $75

I wouldn't recommend doing it on your own unless you have some skills with photoshop or other programs used for that type of work. This guy is local to me and does good work: http://www.starvinartist.net/index.html

Hank i would also let someone do it. They have the skills to do that just like you got the skills to wash a roof. If it will be 200 or under i say let kieth design it.

good decision brother ... he did all my marketing material, i get comments on my door hangers and brochures on the reg. not the cheapest guy out there, but who wants cheap?!?!

Keith's work is fantastic. Also fiverr.com is a great place to get work done.

If you are hell bent on DYI, you can use a publishing program such as MS publisher (windows) or Pages (Mac) to lay it out. Save it as a jpeg,then you can submit your rough draft to someone at fiverr to get it polished up.

Btw, when you get a logo done, get a version that also transfers well to "one color images" for black and white printing and promotional materials. My logo with its fade and three differnt shades of blue caused me lots of extra expense when I got tshirts printed. It's nice to have a logo that pops in both color and black and white.
