Cleaned roof today but after there was like a dusting of " something " left behind ??? flat tile roof after cleaning there was all I can describe as dust, the tile colour was light green under all the crapola, I hosed down twice but it stayed in place and when dry I left foot prints in it, I went to home depot bought a large mop and with a lot of elbow grease it did move it but it was a 4000 sq ft roof and I would have to mop for hours and hours, anyone had similar experience?

Simon, I have done green tile roofs before. Many colored tiles will have an oxidation which will eventually wash off with mother nature. What was in your original mix? Its quite possible that what your seeing is a lot of soap residue depending on how much you used in your mix. Got any pictures?

Hi Larry mix was 50-50 and dawn I told the HO that nature would indeed move it, but there was a roofer on site who was putting loctite on the ridge tiles and he did his fair share of shit-stirring ( I found out later he`d asked to clean the roof with high pressure and had been knocked back by the HO )
