I was talking with the Direct TV guy today who was using a 24 foot extension ladder with these on the bottom. 70% of the time we have level ground to put our ladders on but these looked awesome. I think it might be a great stocking stuffer.

been using them for at least 15yrs but still usually dig out the high side with the heel of my boot, they are ok but rarely use em

Dan - one of our ladders came with those on it - both sides.  My guys love it; in fact I need to install them on the other ladders.

I just bought a 32' ladder the other day and I sure could have used one of those but I was saved by a rock.  Sounds like a good idea.

I have a ladder mate,like a semi circle on the bottom of the ladder. Just touch it with your foot and it's done.
great on uneven ground and gives a wider more stable base.
