Dude that's a good price for where you are at. You can only get Florida pricing if you live in Florida.

You can start out with 5's, but you will want a 100 gallon poly tank.

Actually, if you can't pull up to a 1000 gallon pool supply tank and pump your own, but have to buy it in 55 gal drums, you may as well work out of a 55, as soon as it's about 1/3 full. Buy 2 55's and tale 2/3rds out and fill it with water and you are ready to go!

It is just like filling up with gas, but it's syphon feed through 1 1/2" hose thats about 30' long. We just pull up , open the cover on my 100 gal tank and 50 gal tank and hook the nozzle in the tank top, turn it one and wait about 10 minutes for the 100 to fill to 50 gallons [ I do 90% tile unfortunately = about 50% mix ] then we fill the 50 up and we are ready to do 2-4 tile roofs in a day, depending on size etc. One chlorine place I go, has 3 1000 gallon tanks and they are filled more than once a week. That's the place I buy it at $1.08 a gallon.

I don't envy anyone who has to buy 55 gallon drums etc. But that's up North. Those up North don't envy me cleaning roofs from June through most of Sept at 90 - 95 degrees a day, with high humidity either.

Everywhere has it's ups and downs in this business. Plus, up North, they generally get double the money we get in "HIGHLY COMPETITIVE" Florida!

There are still guys here doing whole roofs for $150.00 Try to convince a neighbor that $400.00 is a good price! hmm

Kanga Roof is just a logo you can use if you are part
of a roofing association.

Mr. Bergman, is it a chemical supply business or something else.
i would think they would have a roof cleaning supply business?
Do they?

Kyle

2 are pool supply stores - chlorine, pool additives, pumps for pools etc, a regular store inside.

1 is a plumbing supply store- all kinds of PVC supplies and wholesale items, including 3 1000 gallon tanks of chlorine in the parking lot.

There are no roof cleaning supply businesses and probably never will be. Everything but chlorine we get from pressure washing supply companies or Home Depot.

Ok. That makes sense.

3 - 1,000 gallon tanks of Chlorine at the plumbing store? I figured it was at
the pool supply store?

Thanks,

Hey Mr. Bergman, A customer has a white brick chimney. About 25 ft. running up
the side of the house. It has a really bad rust stains running about 6 ft. Looks horrible.
They also have brick exterior walls that are stained. Did you ever use a spray mixture to
remove the rust stains?

 Hi Kyle,

If you click on the "search" button on the top of the page and type "rust stains", you will get your answer. 95% of the questions I had were answered without having to ask anyone. The search button is like going to school. I hope this helps you.

Generally rust stains are removed with acid. I use Muriatic acid. start out with 1/3rd acid 2/3 water. Spray on with pump up garden sprayer, wait about a minute and rinse off. You can try a 2nd coat if it doesn't clean it perfectly. If it didn't come close, go to 50%. Just be ready to rinse fast!

Here is a stucco wall example I did. I've done hundreds - brick, stone, stucco, pavers of all sorts, cement. It has never failed me except on a few driveways with dark orange deeply embedded shallow well water rust.

I appreciate the respect of "Mr Bergman" but just call me Chuck.

And don't use the same equipment esp. containers like pump ups for both your acid mixes and base mixes such as Sodium Hypochlorite. things may go BOOM!

Ya, if that. What Adam said is serious. Mix acid and chlorine and you got a bomb!
