I put this in the open section so that this dude if he does come on here can see hes wrong and also it will let people know that there are fakes out there and to check their source first.
Good point. But I want his site shut down as a lesson to him and others. After that happens, I'll move it back to public. Don't want him changing it before go daddy sees it.
I have to furnish proof that the cert. logo and the pics from algae's website are actually ours and his before they will do anything. Probably just going to send the a-hole a e-mail informing him we are taking legal action and also filing a complaint with go-daddy. Hope he scares easy.
I am Gary Wyer, VP and website administrator of Roof Cleaning Institute of America.(RCIA) It has been brought to my attention that you are in serious violation of copyrighted material that is being used on your website and in your advertising within papers/magazines. This email will serve as formal notification that RCIA intends to file civil ligation for copyright violations and false advertising due to the fact you are not even a member of RCIA, much less Certified in roof cleaning by our organization. You are also usuing stolen pictures from the website of a member company, Algae Free Roof Cleaning, who also will join into the ligitation proceedings.
We have already contacted Go Daddy and are in the process of having your website shut down for violations of their user agreement. Several members who live in NJ are filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau for false advertising and fraudulent business activities.
The Internet is a big place, but when people intentionly steal and use material for their personal gain, there are ways to stop this practice. No need to try and change the site as it has already been copied and forwarded to our attorney and Go Daddy.com.
If you have any questions about this, reply back here.
Just a thought. Perhaps we should bombard them with calls, from our members, to bring it to their attention. Stern but polite. This might get the ball moving if they don't check their email.

Good idea Hank. just politely inform it would be to their benefit if they checked their email. All the NJ and NY members need to file complaints with the BBB for false advertising and fraud.
