I don't think I would pay any attention to a letter from Rcia if I was this guy. I mean my ads in and done with what can really be done? I'll wait till next year then put it in again. But what if Rcia was ready for next year? What if we followed his ad with our own? The last thing if I was him or any roof cleaner I would want to see is an ad like this appearing in my local penny saver....I would cease and desist for sure then.
Dear home owners of any small town any state,
It has been brought to our attention that a contractor { simply clean } is advertising that he has been officially certified by The roof cleaning Institute of America, when in fact they are not. Obviously contractors are aware of the importance of being RCIA certified, unfortunately many contractors are willing to lie and deceive home owners with their advertising. If they are willing to falsely advertise where will they stop when it comes to lying? A simple way to see if a contractor is Rcia certified simply click here..............................
Here is a list of Rcia certified contractors in your area.
Gary the rcia owns the certification symbols/logo. I would think you as a representative would be able to have him take it off his website and advertising. give them a call tomorrow and if nothing happens ill take care of it jersey style. I will also call the paper they are advertising in.
as far as it being kim, I believe the last name is spelled differently but it is still possible.
Guys like this will always be around. Just like drug dealers...one gets arrested and another fills the vacuum. This guy will be waiing tables at Denny's come winter.
If the guy has his website hosted at GoDaddy, it wouldve been more fun to have his account shut down. Happened to me with no warning. It sucked.
How about a standard letter you can get from RCIA when nessacary and publish yourself? Ed was okay back then, instead of tucking dollars he lets us get away with fifty cents. Those were the days..........

Not Humanly Possible... much appreciated if this thread would be edited to remove any correlation, 2 states is enough to handle
I just looked at his site under roof cleaning. He's infringing by displaying the RCIA logo. SHUT HIM DOWN! Do not contact him or give warnings. The owner of this forum can contact GoDaddy and have his account dactivated. The only way to get his account turned back on is to remove the logo, then kiss some serious azz to the owner of RCIA to allow GoDaddy to reinstate his account.
This is exactly what I had to do to the b*tch from ruf shampoo. It was humiliating.

"Sparkle" was my stage name when I used to dance.
How does one go about having a website cancelled? Any info.
ed that process has already been started. Once i get contacted from godaddy i will turn it over to either chris or gary. I aint putting up with this shit. Kim i appologize for your name being brought up.

I also just sent an email to support at Go Daddy reporting him/her. we'll see what happens. Gonna go edit out the reference to Kim, but not the offender.
No problem Mike, there is two ways to spell the last name that one is Italian other is French. I did NJ one time for about 20 min. and was lost on some freeway that connects 3-4 states. Crazy over there. :) Take Care Kim R
Let me simply recreate the scenerio: sitting in my office with 2 salesman in primetime and my phones not ringing. I start dialing all my phone numbers to make sure they work. Checked the website and got the ol' "oops, temporarily not available. Love, GoDaddy"
What's great about it is you cannot simply call GoDaddy to resolve this. The Copyright dept. Of GoDaddy communicates strictly by email. I had to kizz azz of Ruf Shampoo by proxy through their lawyer. My God it felt like the world stood still that day.
Now this moron will probably take a week to figure out his website is down. He's not relying on leads coming in by website, so we will all have about a week to laugh about it.
Once Mr Lowball takes down the logo and proves it to Gary or Chris, it'll be up to them to contact GoDaddy to allow his account to reactivate. But they will oddly be out of the country for 2 weeks, so Mr Lowball will have to wait for Gary to come home (from thailand) to contact GoDaddy and proclaim Mr Lowball fulfilled his obligation.
I had a landing page made with keywords " roof shampoo". But it wasnt even off of my main lead generating site. They squashed my whole account and all websites went down.
Guys look at the font on his ad and on his website where it says "We Clean Dirty Roofs". Ive seen that font and colors before. Somebody from this forum had that exact font and colors, but I cant remember who. Am I the only who sees it...?
