Two things...I opened some new Sh today and it was pretty cloudy....almost a milkey look. Ran my fingers through it and felt the normal burn, has anyone seen this before? Any ideas? Also a big thanks to Art oleveri who at the present time is suspended. It was 3:20 in the afternoon and I had some equipment problems and was patching things together...but I needed parts fast. I called Art and asked him for Bob at pressure teks number and Art stopped what he was doing and got it for me. Now keep in mind Arts a roof cleaner in my area, I got Bobs answering machine and a call back twenty minutes later to get the order in before he closed. We all know a day or two sooner is better then later....so a big thanks to my competition ART OLERVERI and Bob at pressure Tek for great customer service....a phone call returned before he closed, cant get that anywhere else!
Not sure of the cloudy SH, from a wholesale supplier? possibly no stabilizer additives such as Hydroxide?
On a side note, I have a years old batch of 15% that when new stunk like a skunks azz (super fresh) checked my old leftover from this time last year (took a new job) and it doesnt smell like anything but slightly like saltwater but still has some power and burn left. I assume its degraded quite a bit but still works. Question is, what does your "fresh" SH smell like? store bought smells well like "bleach". stuff i get smelled when new like Pepé Le Pew!
My supplier picks it up in Newark with one of those big stainless transformer looking trucks. I get it sometimes the same day. I really dont smell anything until 2 weeks later.

How does 12% come in at 15%?
Not sure what you mean but my supply is 15%, not 12.5% etc. It is industrial strenght for commercial pools, water treatment facilities etc out of a tanker straight from manufacturer, not drums.
May not have any stabilizers hence the degredation factor

My SH is always cloudy when it's agitated by pouring into a 5 gallon bucket. But then in a few minutes it clears up to the typical yellow. But no, haven't ever seen it stay cloudy.

Pat,
It's great to hear that you and Art can compete in the same market, have respect and assist each other when the chips are down. Our industry for the most part is a brotherhood. I had a similar positive experience with Dirty Dan of Apex Roof Cleaning. Many leads have been forwarded to me by Barry Landis, Eric of A & E and Ray of Spray Wash. I even get calls from Diamond and Thompson Roof Cleaning just seeing what's up. That's a brotherhood.
Regarding Bob at PT. I have nothing but praise for his efforts. Whether you order $100 or a $1000 he gets back to you right away and ships on a timely basis.
Serving the Pocono and Lehigh Valley(Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Pike and Wayne Counties), PA community as well as both Warren and Sussex Counties of New Jersey

Bob puts that other company to shame!

Same here. My supplier gets his at 15% and I get it same day as well. Chit is so hot that when I get some on a shop rag it turns straight white and the rag feels like 100* +.
Kind of "off topic" but I would like to see the Art Oliveri situation get handled, and Art returned to the family.
I understand what happened, and why what was done, was done. But I see RCIA as a family, and Art Oliveri as a PART of our family. He gave Gary no choice but to do what he did, and I support Gary's actions. However, I want to see Art posting again.
For reasons known only to Art, he did not renew his premium membership, yet still placed active links in his signature! Gary acted to protect you paying members.
It is unfair to you guys to have to pay for active signature links, and then allow anyone to get the benefits of active backlinks, w/o paying!
I toild Art to simple apologize to Gary, not do it again, and I will reactivate him. I like Art, and I miss him.
