The sister of that pump has a bypass feature. No pressure switch. It runs until you shut it off at the switch.
IF the pump is rated for continous duty, that actually is a better way to do it, and bypass back into the tank. Not only does it provide agitation for your mix, it also eliminates the pressure switch failures!
All you need is a pressure requlator/bypass, and you are good to go.
Its a 2.1 gpm i believe. With a # 20 tip you can get roughly 20'. We've cleaned fairly large roofs with these pumps. I'll tell you what, they far outlast the 5850's. A reputable nj company only uses these little pumps.
At my local tractor supply ythey have 2 models to choose from...a 2.1 gpm and a 4 gpm model. Pretty bulletproof little pumps, been ver happy with mine.

Good find Adam. The 3.8 pump is $25 cheaper than the Tractor Supply price.
I have the 2.1 mounted in the box truck. With a #20 tip you can clean roofs all day long. Obviously with less volume, but its great for lesser experienced crewman.
Sounds good Ed. I'll have to cash in on that next road trip up to Rhode Island to see family up there.
The Fimco has a 2.1 gpm/60 psi with continuous run and the 3.8 gpm is only 45 psi with a pressure switch. The Delavan 5850 shoots 5.3 gpm at 60 psi. I like the Delavan but wish it would withstand punishment like the Fimco. Seems like it would take all day to shoot a roof and house wash with 2.1 gpm. Ray, are you running the 45 psi or the 60 psi? I'd ask what kind of distance your getting but I know that you are using a booster pump in-line with the other.
