This is a promo for roof snot. Not because I use it .... but because I'm wanting to use it. I had some serious settling in my tank after a 12 hour pre-mix with a certain surfactant that killed my mix (a few times) and ate into my net income. Roof Snot seems to be stable with SH so it sounds like a no brainer.
I'd like some input on Roof Snot after being mixed with SH for longer than 12 hours.
I'm assuming this is the stuff Chris found. As you can see theres a range of products within a name, maybe some distributors can look into what would be best for the industry?...

I know what Roof Snot is Ray, and it is from a whole family of unconditionally chlorine stable surfactants. I approve of it. This Amine Oxide family includes Ammonyx and Myristamine, but there are probably 50 other less known members of this family of surfactants that are just as good, maybe even better, then the two I just mentioned. Back when Billy Jensen and myself were exploring these surfactants here at the RCIA, I explored a few of these. Billy found Ammonyx, and I found Myrastamine. I found another called Maclamine that was THE Shit!
It was so thick, it made Myrastamine look like water! The problem was, the company wanted me to commit to nearly a tanker load of it!
Since I have no commercial asperations of bottling and selling it, I turned them down.
One day, one of our distributors will "discover" Maclamine, and I predict that whoever is the first distributor to offer it for sale in smaller quantities, they may quite possibly own the roof cleaning surfactant market.
LOL, perhaps they will even give the roof cleaning institute credit, for the pioneering work we have done with these chlorine stable surfactants ?
wondering if adding a little to products like Chomp Pro and butyl based cleaners that dont need scrubbing on "most" gutters would be stable and add more hang time?
kewl, tryin to order now, paypal effn with me though!
really wanting to try, as an old cust just sold house (very historical) and new owners have a guy powerwashing barrel tiled roof off with articulating boom lift which I could do from ground and cant see what the price difference would have been! first off, THREE guys hanging off basket!, should send OSHA over there!
