I talked with a company at a street fair. They do basement mold remediation and said Facebook pay per click was their main source of lead generation. So I tried it for a few weeks and didnt get a single lead so I dropped it.

I actually did pretty well with the Facebook ads for the first four months... Then it dropped off to nothing. I booked about six jobs for roof cleaning. A dramatic photo is VERY important.

Nice part is you can limit your budget and cost per click, so spending doesn't get out of hand. If you DON'T limit it, it WILL GET out of hand. After my initial success I increased my limits to 250 per month, and then calls decreased, but the cost didn't. We soon after cancelled the campaign.
