Yup. I have 2 pressure washers with me at all times. I have 2 5850 pumps all plummed and ready to switch if one quits and another in the back seat of the truck. I carry 2 batteries for the pumps, in case one dies or I forget to charge it. Plus all accessories, at least double. 4 downstream chemical injectors, 3 or 4 of each spray tip I use and 3 guns for roofs and 3 guns for pressure washing.
One day stopped, because you don't have a backup and it cots you more than the backup equipment costs.
Now, the air pumps and compressors-that's big $$$. That's why I stick with the 5850 pumps.
Anyway, sorry that happened to you!
Things always seem to break down in bunches!!!
You got that right Chuck, 2 of every thing is always better! Hopefullly, this was the last of the breakdowns. My schedule doesn't allow for much down time. LOL
II was having a problem with my compressor awhile back. It wasn't building up or holding pressure either. Realized that the small pressure relief valve was clogged up so I removed it. Pressure built right back up. Its a bit of louder pop sound when it finally reaches full psi but she's been running great ever since. The only other issue I had where the pressure wouldn't build up is when my air intake filter was clogged up. Replaced the filter and she built right up again. Also, check the housing where the intake goes into the tank. Somehow mine loosened and was loosing air and needed to be tightened back down which I did and its been fine after that. Sometimes its just simple stuff that goes wrong but it shuts can mess with you. I spent 5.5 hrs last Saturday working on my stuff. Everything is running perfectly.....(I for now) lol
