Peter I had an Al flow with the compressor and your right you just cant kill that pump, but you can kill the compressor. We have went thru 3 compressors and I finally switched over to 12 volt pumps. We have been doing 10 roofs or more a Weeks since march with the same 5850 and have had no problems. I dont spend nearly as much on gas since getting rid of the compressor. We also use our pump to apply the house wash when soft washing houses. We do atleast 10 or more a week also.

Marcus he means the aluminum skid with the 100 gallon tank from pressuretek. Not aluminum tank.
lol I have never bought and all in one skid. I always piece mine together.
All flo pumps do last longer but I do not like the way they pulse. 12 volts do not pulse. Good point on rinsing pumps out. All pumps should be rinsed out between each job for longevity.
I agree with you on the 12v pumps vs the all flo regarding the gas and the compressor. Unfortunately I'm not as busy as you yet, but I haven't had a single problem with the all flo yet. No leaks, or anything, the only downside I really dont like is the noise. My compressor is still running great, I bought it new, store brand at Harbor Freight for only $500. I think some people like the 12v and some like the compressor, but I would try out each before committing to one. Do any of the 12v pumps have any kind of warranty with the use of sh?
