Mike, don't let it bug you at all. So what, your competition knows what you charge. If he gets the job, you've got a pretty good idea what he charges too (less than you). Hell maybe when he saw your bid he realized he was charging too little and will now raise his rates. Don't loose any sleep over it...unless of course you start loosing lots of business to him.

Competition is inevitable. But i'd prefer well educated, professional competition any day of the week!
