Here is some Hardi-board siding that was sprayed with 50% on the bad spots. Also, true " Hardi" material is actually thin stamped concrete planks, not wood.

Ok, thanks guys. Seitz it's beautiful out, no work today? I don't have any and its driving me crazy!
I couldn't work this week even if I wanted too, my truck is being painted and wrapped as we speak! Last week was a killer week though so, I needed a break! LOL

I was just wondering how you go about cleaning this roof. It is a shingle roof, but the siding is all painted wood panels. I think its called hardy plank siding? What I am worried about, is when the 40% solution runs off the roof, some splatter hits the paint of the panel. Even if my assistant tech is spraying water on it the whole time, i still think it will discolor the paint.
Dan, I have not had a problem with Hardi siding discoloring as long as they are rinsed. Also, remember, when you spray the 40% mixture on the roof, if is likely only about 20-25% by the time it gets to the bottom of the roof. The oxidation/killing process of the solution takes a lot of the power out of it, that why the run-off is never as strong as the original mix.
Sometime when we bag gutters, that left over runoff isn't even strong enough to clean concrete....

A little slow next week. I just found out that a competitor had deleted me off of Google places and I'm trying to fix it I think something had to do with me being slow
I can't speak for Eric but up here things have slowed down big time. Also, it's extremely windy this morning. In the past(lawn care, gutters, cleanups) I've experienced calls the week of Memorial Day and thereafter due to city folks opening up their vacation homes/weekend retreats. This market might be different than yours or Eric's.

Eric, I know man, some people in business are too damn insecure and have to mess with others, it's a shame.
To the original poster, I'd be worried, too, but I'd think you'll be fine just keeping it wet. Just don't get too crazy with the spraying. I won't even touch a house with real stained wood siding, those of you who do are better than I am!
